How the competitions work

Public and private competitions

Public

Everyone who signs up is placed in the current public competition automatically. Anyone can see its rankings.

Private

Protected by a password and run for one group: a class, a society, a company or a community. Only the people who have the password can join.

Join in three steps

  1. Create a free account with an email address or a Google account.
  2. Finish your short profile and open your dashboard. You are already in the public competition.
  3. Place your first practice trade and watch your rank after each trading day.

Prizes

Some competitions have a sponsor, and a sponsor may offer a prize to the top-performing portfolios. Prizes are announced with the competition. If your organization would like to fund one, see for sponsors.

Questions about the competitions

How do I join a stock market competition?

Create a free account. Everyone is placed in the public competition automatically. Private competitions need a password from whoever runs them.

Is it free?

Yes. Joining and trading are free, and nobody uses real money.

How is the winner decided?

Rankings depend on how each portfolio performs by the end date of the competition. Everyone starts with the same practice money.

Can I win real prizes?

Sometimes. When a competition has a sponsor, the sponsor may offer a prize to the top-performing portfolios. Check a competition's details to see what, if anything, is on offer.

What happens on the last day?

Orders placed after 9:30 AM Pakistan time on a competition's last trading day will not be filled, because the final prices are already set.

Can I run a competition for my class, club or company?

Yes. We can set up a private competition with its own password, dates and rankings page. See the pages for teachers, universities and organizations below.

Join the competition with Rs. 10 lakh in practice money. Free, no real money.
