How this is counted
- Compares each portfolio's latest value (cash plus the shares it holds at the latest closing prices) with its starting cash. Only portfolios in competitions that have not ended and that have made at least one trade are counted.
- It is a snapshot, and competitions started at different times, so portfolios have had different lengths of time to grow. A portfolio exactly at its starting value is counted in "Up 0 to 10%".
- A member is an account that is not disabled and has completed its profile, which leaves out unfinished and automated signups.
- These are practice portfolios with practice money, not real trades. They show what people choose to practise with, not what investors do with real money, and nothing here is investment advice.
